The Social Security Administration has prepared a Disability Evaluation Under Social Security manual (also known as the Blue Book) that details the mental and physical disabilities that would qualify an individual for Social Security Disability (SSDI) benefits and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. To qualify, you don’t necessarily need to meet all of the listing requirements for a particular disability, or even have one of the listed disabilities. However, your condition must be equally severe to the SSA listed conditions, and prevent you from doing any kind of work.
We’ve listed many of the qualifying conditions on our website, but the circumstances of each disability are unique. Harold W. Conick & Associates Ltd. is here to help. Contact us today for additional information or a free case evaluation.
